I have a 1968 Jefferson Nickle that sticks out from my other Jefferson Nickles because of it's color, which is I would say "gun metal grey". Is this a common color or is this one odd? It weighs exactly 5 grams.
You're going to find that there are a lot of environmental factors that can affect the coloration of almost any coin. ~ Chris
Lol..I know, I was adding that fact so you would know that it didn't weigh any more or less then other Jefferson Nickles, but thank you
Don't worry about @Bluntflame . He was just trying to be helpful. The ones that crack me up are when someone posts an identical coin beside their "error" coin to show us what that coin is supposed to look like under normal conditions. Are you kidding me? I've never seen a nickel before!
Just toned differently due to exposure of where the coin has been. Nothing wrong with gun metal grey coloring.
You got me there..and I really do appreciate everyone's help, I really do Bluntflame, I hope you see this, I don't always word things the way I think or mean then, I apologize, I think all of you are great and I really value every ones opinion, and thank you for being gentle
