    Great finds as usual. The Star of David is very interesting, and it looks like the Julian bronze should clean up very well.

    Nice finds! It amazes me that you can identify coins with a lot of mud on them. I couldn't I think.

    Typing this gave me an idea for a game: guess the muddy coin.

    How about, next time you find a coin with a lot of mud still on it, you post it and let the members guess the obverse and reverse?
    And after cleaning, you could post the result.

    Sounds like fun at least to me :)
