Is anyone here having trouble accessing the forum/website besides me? Last 2-3 days i can't get it to open.
I had the same trouble like 2 months ago but pretty sure I was shadow banned so haven't bothered to visit since
I haven't checked today but, yes, I cannot connect. And just as a sanity check I tried to access stampcommunity.com (a sister site) and no luck there either.
On their Facebook page they say the site is down and that the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting staffing at data center which is causing delays in getting the site back up.
I got tossed from there over a year ago. The moderator never responded to several Email requests to tell me why I was banned. I only posted in one thread and could not find anything "offensive" in my posts.
Just came back for me. I enjoy the "How Far Back Can We Go?" thread seeing all of the different coins from around the world.
Thanks I'd been wondering what happened, haven't been able to access for three days. But it is back up for me now, just just came up in the past couple hours.
It does seem they are back YAY!.. from the Facebook posts I would guess something died and needed to be replaced and because of limited staffing at the Data Center they were having more than the usual problems... I think from the IP they use SoftLayer (now IBM) in Dallas and so there are closure orders across the entire county. Yes, Bobby posted "Well it seems coronavirus has affected us here. The datacenter had multiple network hardware failures that would normally only take a few hours to repair. But due to the current situation they were running very shorthanded and also has to get a piece of hardware they didn't have at the center probably because of delivery issues. Edited to add: All coin community email was down too and likely lost. I should have had 4-500 emails come in today and I only had about 20. So please don't think I was ignoring you if you emailed."
My login stopped working after telling someone to stop spreading misinformation about how they claimed their dealer told them they paid $40 a coin for bulk submissions or some nonsense like that. Was consistently the same person just spewing misinformation but oh well
I read threads there sometimes when they pop up in my google searches, but I've never joined or actively followed that forum. The software looks like its from 2002. The layout bothers me.
