I have read that the first banknote to show an airplane is the Series 1914 Federal Reserve Note. [What I have illustrated is a 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note - same design, just slightly different inscriptions.]
This one is from an old thread here (I didn't take this picture). This turned out to be a Pachinko token from the Fukushima area of Japan.
Wondered how long it would take before that one got posted. Arguably the definitive "Airplane on a coin" coin.
