I’m sorry to tell you this but that coin is not an error. Someone put it in a vise with another cent and the design on the other cent was pressed into this cent. Or instead of a vise they might have used a hammer. It’s only worth its copper value (2 cents), unless you put it on eBay.

I don't think it is a vice job, I think it may be a triple strike. Let me look at the pics a bit. Hope Mike d. sees this thread.
EDIT- after studying this a bit, I think it is a flip over triple strike. A vice job leaves mirror images of the letters, and these strikes are correct. It is a very nice error , though I am not sure of the value. maybe $100 or so.

Just how do you do that and get the lettering to come out with the proper orientation?

I dis agree, I believe the imprint would be backwards, and not legible if It was put in a vice.

Do you by chance know the history of this coin? It appears to have been stored for some time, hence the toning that is evident.

I don't collect error coins, but I like this one. Its quite unique. If you could get a thousand bucks I'd say sell, if you really need the money, otherwise I'd keep this bad boy!

Thanks for sharing and Keep on Collecting!!!

I think it's from the mint , look at the 2nd Liberty it's the same as the 1st liberty , I'm pretty sure it's authentic .
