Take a Break: What did I do to this Cent?

    Hello all,

I did some stay-at-home photoshopping today. If you want to have some numismatic fun, take a look at this cent. I made 10 digital alterations (5 on each side). Can you find them all? Most of the experts here would probably yawn and find all 10 in less than a minute, but maybe some of you will find it more challenging. Answers are in the first comment below, so don't read the first comment if you wanna play.

    OBVERSE
    1. Lincoln's hair has covered his ear.
    2. There should be no "P" mintmark.
    3. The "Y" in LIBERTY is wrong.
    4. The slit in his coat lapel is gone.
    5. Tougher one: IN GOD WE TRUST has been crunched up closer together.

EDITED: The doubling in LIBERTY, although not common, was already in the base image and is not part of my Photoshopping. That's why it's not included in the list above. Special thanks to @Inspector43 for pointing that out. :)

    REVERSE
    6. The "F" in "OF" is in a smaller font.
    7. The dot between "E" and "PLURIBUS" is missing.
    8. The top tier of the Memorial has been widened.
    9. Lincoln's Statue is missing (duh...)
    10. Tougher one: The entire Memorial has been flipped.

Thanks! The Numismatist magazine has something similar each month. But I'm never that good at it cause I'm not an expert. But I know a lot more of Photoshop than coins - LOL.

The entire word "LIBERTY" is doubled. Is that a standard to the LMC?

Hahaha. I was searching for an image that would be detailed and large enough for me to work on and found this one, which has the doubling. Except for the "Y", I didn't photoshop that doubling.

You should always look as close as you expect your contestants to look.

Very nice. I looked like Lincoln had been raised, making a larger gap between the rim and bottom of the bust.

My wife owned her own beauty shop when I met her. We have been together almost 50 years. Her and our daughter went on to own as many as 5 shops at the same time. They sold everything and retired. In all those years my wife is the only one to cut my hair. So, when it is time for a haircut she just takes me to the utility room, where I put together a little beauty shop, and says 'sit down, and shut up'.

And since I don't go out in public much, she don't care what the neighbors think.

Danomite What do you say uh-huh

I haven’t been to a barber since I left the Navy. My wife’s not a hair dresser but she says anyone can shave the hat fringe that I have left! :(
