    Agreed! It's intentional damage, possibly from a punch. The mark on the reverse was caused by the force of the strike on the obverse. ~ Chris

    The raised area on the reverse immediately opposite the dent is the characteristic that tells it's PMD

    I figured, But like I said these caught my eye and figured I'd post. The reverse bulge without defamation was pretty clear as PMD.

    I don't have an overlay but I would think that reverse bulge is from the obverse indent.
