I bought 3 1964 mint sets at a coins show about 4 months ago and since I'm under house arrest I thought I would look at them a little closer and found one set with a 1964-D quarter and a 1964-D nickel.
Just curious if this is something that happens often or not.

Are the mint sets still in the original plastic?

Doesn't look like an "official" U.S. Mint Set. Assembled as such outside the mint by someone either on purpose or by mistake.

It looks like you are correct. I looked at the plastic holders and they say Whitman on them. I will be more observant from now on. Paid 12 bucks a piece for them.

OP had pictures in his 1st post when I first viewed this thread. Now they've been disappeared!
