1939 DDR Nickel

    Today, I found this very worn (G6) 1939 DDR in one of my Dad’s Whitman folders. It wasn’t marked as a DDR. Despite the worn condition, doubling can be seen in “LO” of “MONTICELLO”, and “VE” of “FIVE”. He probably found it in a roll a number of years ago as he loved to search through circulated coins.

    Yes, I have seen this exact DDR on youtube a few times. In particular, it was on a coin roll hunters channel, as he had found 2 of them in back to back boxes.
