The only requirement for joining EAC is an application to start and yearly dues; your name is published in the next "Penny-Wise" for members to review, a sort of "vetting process". An interest/ love of early copper and interest in the camaraderie of others with similar interests sharing their expertise and knowledge is a main stay for me. I have been a member since 2002 and have attended several of our yearly Conventions which on their own are worth the modest dues. I actually chaired last year's event with my wife in Dayton, Oh last year and it was one of the hardest and most fulfilling experiences of my time in the hobby.
