Cleaned James I shilling

    image.jpg image.jpg Hi all, been looking at this coin and not sure if it’s been cleaned. Am I right and if so what does that do the value?

    If the image were sharper it would be easier to make a determination, Nathan. From what I can see the reverse looks decent, but the obverse seems to have a few horizontal lines or scratches running from 11 o'clock to 2 o'clock that might indicate cleaning. Difficult to be sure with the fuzzy picture.

    A nice coin though. Thanks for showing it to us.
