image.jpg I don’t have any real goodies yet but sooner or later I will. Still pretty small.

What is the "military currency"? I think it is more of a token of some sorts than actual scrip.

It is a token from Uller Fest in Breckenridge, CO.

Wow. Your eyes are better than mine lol. Didn't see "Breckenridge" until you wrote it.

    Def not a military token.

    All good.
I like those Korean 500 Won coins. I managed to complete a full date set when I lived there.

This is my best find in special pennies. It’s a 2000D with recrystallization of copper on a penny. It’s the dentrites or “branches of copper” on the penny. image.jpg

That one would get tossed as quickly as I could. But if you like it, that's what matter :) Those copper dendrites are kinda neat.

Looks like you're primarily collecting from circulation, and maybe you've done a little travelling. :) That's a great way to start out! I still remember filling up my blue Whitman folders as a kid that way. I think I got all of the Memorial cents that were available, and most of the Jefferson nickels (though I never did find a 39-D, 39-S or 50-D). I was pretty stoked when I found a 1938!

This is part of what I love about this hobby: you can enter it at basically zero cost, and there are still some neat finds out there waiting. Have you tried roll hunting or trolling the CoinStar reject slot yet?

Your Euro coins do not equate to a little over $100 I'm afraid.
    More like $2.40

I wouldn’t mind the handwriting, but the spelling could be improved ;-)

Nice start up of a collection you have there. On your first photo you have a ??? under a token that has 2018 in the middle surrounded by "All This Goodness Runs On Happiness" and "Treasure Truck". I have never seen one of these, but this is an Amazon Treasure Truck token. I have no other information on who actually minted them or how they were distributed. Out of curiosity, is it the same image on the other side? I'll let you do more investigation on it and maybe you can find out more information. Or even write Amazon themselves and find out if they can fill in all the blanks for you on the token! ;)
