Fellas, I'm a total Schmuck! As some of you may recall, I recently decided to begin divesting myself of paper money that I've collected, and focus more on coinage (the reason I got into the hobby.) As I begin to lower the amount of paper money that I have sitting around, something happens that throws the plan backwards a step or two. Friday, I was in the bank with my paycheck, and one of the tellers told me that she "had something" for me. Don't get excited, it's not that type of situation. She knows that I am interested in wierdo stuff that she gets. Anyway, she shows me a stack of bills that a customer had deposited. All of the bills were from series 1950- Mostly $20's with two 10's and 2 50's! I was told that if I didn't want them, the stack would be sent off to the reserve. Not being able to allow that to happen, I snatched them all. I killed my paycheck, but I got them all. Now, before I need to spend them, does anyone want any? What I'm thinking of doing, is hosting the pics on a third party site. I'm pretty much looking for the first reasonable offer. Ideally, I'd like to get face+5. Unfortunately, I sunk an entire paycheck into this, so I can't have this going too long. Heck, I'd take one of those $20's! (PM'ed you...) Have actually been trying to get an old $20 for my collection... something pre-1996 but not hugely expensive (just want a decent type example). Reply to my PM with the details.

Just updating to say that the album has been updated to reflect those notes that have been spent and those which have gone to interested parties. Also, I was going through the notes today and noticed that two of them are in sequential order. I hadn't realized that before. 1950B F84768143A and F84768144A Go figure!
Just a note to say that the album has been updated again. Unfortunately, I've had to start spending the bills. I knew it was too much to get from the bank at a time, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity. C'est la vie
