Hi everybody, hope all are well and staying safe. Check out doubling in America, I think columns, and cent. Give me your thoughts my friends. I checked out Wexlers DDRs, mine looks new? Is it real?

Your coin has a ridge ring which usually indicates it was struck with a worn die. IMO it looks like die deterioration doubling (DDD). Wait for the expert's opinions.

I have seen doubling IN Wexlers doc, and on ebay where mine appears so much better, what's the darn determination., die scratches? Is that it?

Never use ebay as a reference for any coin. That's a big mistake since a lot of "Doubled Die" coins they try to sell there are actually not Doubled Die variety.

I know that, I am just trying to figure out how a doubled die is really okayed. I guess I just send it to Wexler? I know folks find doubled die, didn't a newbie find 4 in one coin roll hunt? Why are mine shut down? I work so hard to find them! But thnx for feedback, just makes me more determined! Mannnnn. I weigh them, microscope them, arrrrggghhhh......

Real doubled dies are made during the hubbing process. Your coin's "doubling" is a result of the minting process, in this case known as "Die deterioration doubling".

Sure, someone new to the hobby could find 4 in one hunt. They'd be considered extremely lucky. I've not been searching nearly as long as some people here, only since 2013, but I've managed to find ~15-20 different doubled dies. That being said, I just finished my 685th box of cents last night. That doesn't factor in all the bags and random rolls of cents I have searched as well. By my count, I have probably searched close to $20,000 in cents alone. 2 million coins.

20 doubled dies found in 2,000,000 coins searched. That is 0.001% of the coins searched. Think on that for a bit.

Thanks for the chuckle. At least you have a sense of humor. Needed in these times. :)
