Coin found in garden (London)

    Just dug up in London garden- has similarities with George iii halfpenny but features a lion at the base of Britannia which isn't common. The coin is shimmery golden but that doesn't show up in the photos. Any ideas?

    All you have here is a heavily corroded George III Halfpenny. Here is what the reverse looks like without so much corrosion and environmental damage.
