I saw that a bit ago as well. Wonder how this will affect the 2020-W Quarter minting.

Seems like a good move. I, too, wonder if it might mean 2020 is a good year to pick up W mint coins.

They probably have enough minted for the entire year already.

I didn't think they were supposed to have minted the Samoa Bats until the last coin of the year.

I haven't seen any 2020 coins except that dime my wife gave me because it was shiny. I need to check out the US Mint website.

I was given a random 2020D Bat from a guy who used to be a member here. That is the only 2020 coin I've seen.

I have received two (2020 D Bat) back in change within the last week. Thought it was strange as I usually do not see newer quarters so soon after their release.

The odd thing about my 20D Bat is that I am just a couple hours south of Philly lol. Not a single Philly mint coin to be seen, yet somehow a Denver Bat flew all the way out here.

That is awesome. If I saw a Philly Bat quarter this soon on west coast I would be shocked.

I've come across at least 50 or so 2020D bat quarters in customer wrapped rolls. I have several in a jar right now should somebody need one later in the year.

Great Info. Thanks I have had since April 5th waiting on 2 rolls of fruit bats Did find two in Maui in early March before peeling it back to Maine to try and be safe. Love that Ebay is loaded with Weir and Samoa W quarters for sale??? I have been waiting for NBA release for grandkids April 6th pushed back to April 9th now TBD. Makes sense I guess with " The end of the World as we know it!"

Wonder how much of a stampede that will cause with tomorrow's release of the sets with the Reverse Proof Jefferson Nickels in it.

Just looked at the USmint site. All issues after tomorrow have been changed to TBD status.

The Samoa bat quarters were released February 3rd.
They were supposed to release Weir Farm April 6th, IDK if that is on schedule.

The Bat-Quarters [IMG] were released but the West Point version was delayed until later in the year. The West Point Weir Farm was reportedly released, and should (in theory) be the only West Point quarter in the wild right now.

They say they have 190k+ sets already available. Subscriptions come first. last year it took them 5 days to sell that many. I'm sure it'll go faster this year.

My set is showing "ready for shipment" this morning (4/17/2020).

Yes I understood the Bat W quarters were scheduled for a later release.
I was replying to people who were under the impression the regular 2020 coins had just recently been released, when they have been circulating for 2 months.
