Fake trade dollars

    Best thing is to stick with slabbed trade dollars, IMHO.

    That said, I think that for lower grade pieces (think AG/G), it's probably a bit less likely to encounter a counterfeit piece. I've heard stories, of course, but wouldn't it take effort to wear down a fake to look heavily worn?

    They are older fakes, easily spotted. Unfortunately they do a much better job on them now.
