I'm still working on my picture taking abilities, but I wanted to post my latest efforts on this 1795 British Conder token. I'll keep working at it and eventually I'll get a proper set up (fixed lighting, copy stand, etc.) or maybe not!

Wow, you sure it's not a restrike of any kind? Awesome!

Thanks! No, not a restrike. One can find many of these tokens from that period in uncirculated condition.

I love all of the Pidcock's Conders! :D And this one is toadily awesome! :thumb:

Would you happen to know how many varieties there are of just the Pidcocks? :kewl:

    Ribbit :)

Ps: I also love the Spence Tokens. :D So many of them fit today, with what's been going on. :rolling:

In the D&H reference, they number from #414 (that is mine pictured) through #458, so that would be 44 not including various edge inscription varieties that would raise that number. Some are extremely rare and not easily collectible.

And now for your quiz - What is misspelled?

Exhibition is one and wasn't it the Exeter Exchange?

    Ribbit :)

Ps: For those who are not familiar with the Pidcocks Tokens, this is a great read:

Pps: It was called both the Exeter Change or Exchange. I guess Change is short for Exchange and is probably British in origin. ;)

Your second picture looks much better with the lighting and color :thumb:.
