Cracks, breaks, scratches and strikethroughs.

    I continue to have issues distinguishing between any of the interruptions to a smooth surface. Cracks, breaks, scratches, gouges, etc. Quite often they appear to be basically the same thing other than the cause and origin.

    Please look at the reverse of this 1920 dime and tell me what these marks are. Thanks.
