I came across this DPL designation and was very confused, It doesnt really have mirror surfaces and it seems like a PL. Can anyone shed any light on these?

I saw this 82CC, it seems kinda mirrorish on the reverse, but I dont see the deep mirrors

Then this 83cc has no mirrors so how can it be deep? hmmh??

DPL and DMPL are the same thing from different grading services. PL and DMPL coins are difficult to photograph.

NGC uses the abbreviation DPL for Deep Proof Like which is basically the same as DMPL, Deep Mirror Proof Like, that PCGS, ANACS and ICG use. ~ Chris
