The simple answer you're looking for is this. The only person that can tell you how they did it is the person that did it. Anything else is a guess.

Hello, I am new as well, and I would like to ask you for some opinions. During my last coin hunt (halves and quarters) I found the following coins.

Do you know if I should keep it (and in that case what's their value approx.) or should I just use them as a change and spend it.
Thank you so much in advance!

You should really start your own post instead of hijacking someone else's.

    They're all spenders.

Welcome aboard - did you find those coins metal detecting outdoors? They appear to be circulated coins without any added value - that colorized half is a novelty item worth face value (more if it's from 1964-1970).
PS - it's best to start a new thread rather than add yours onto another one ;)

Danomite What do you say uh-huh

Welcome to CT! You need to start your own thread and post clear full pictures of both the obverse and reverse. The state quarters look promising. Be sure to post pictures of the reeding on those.

As others said, start a new thread.

Post clear cropped pics of both sides of the VA quarter. It could be something interesting. Also post a pic of the edge if any of the reeding looks diffetetnt

It is usually rude to Hijack anothers thread, but in this instance you need the free help.
I would like to see the other sides of photo 1. Can't tell if they are off center broad struck or just a mis aligned die?

@giannide1 Welcome to Coin Talk. I'm not picking on you but since you're new, I'll try to explain something to you. When posting something that's unrelated to the original post (OP) you should start a new thread. It's considered impolite to hijack another members thread but it is understandable because you're new. If you don't know how to start a thread please let me know and I'll explain how to do it. Again, welcome, and have fun with the hobby. :)

Do the red numbers represent what you think are errors? Could you elaborate?

I am sorry about that, I didn't know, I wrote in someone else post bc in other forums the members prefer to compact as much as they can the conversation.

Thank you for your understanding and I will start my own thread!

Here is the sad thing as I see it.

Every single collector needs to start somewhere. FORTUNATELY today, newcomers have a big advantage over you older guys and gals who know a thing or millions with sites like this and the internet. It has changed everything.

UNFOTRUNATELY, it has not changed human nature.

In my real world, many would post the answer to this coin, a "man-made piece of unusual junk artwork," and move on. But I too have fallen into the trap and replied. It's because I'm putting off cleaning my bathroom floor and toilet for as long as I can.

What happens is this: Post the image of a young lady reaching out for help and ... VOMIT :vomit:. Remember, you can lead a...
