Haha, it was a completely accidental trick of the lighting. This is a highly reflective PL coin from Sweden, with cameo devices. The light was reflected off the coin, and then reflected again off the inside of the slab. You're seeing the shadow of the reflection of the slab on the coin, and it makes it look like its floating. No photoshop, just completely perfect lighting.
