Andrew McC was kind enough to direct me here to get some insight and help. it took weeks but here’s is the information I was able to gather on orginal findings. It’s from my wife’s family she’s Croatian. I’ve collected Ancient coins for over 20 years ( ALL CNG AND HA auctions ). Mostly Greek pirate.......I didn’t even know these existed ..... my wives family knew this and so they came to me about purchasing it. I LOVE IT. size of these is soooooooooo cool. This old Roman town is located near my town Austria , many years ago my late grandfather and his friends did archeological research. In the part where they did the research, now the spa was made because there is natural hot water in the area.,, Rimske Terme. They found some items. His name was Zdenko Zivkovic my English not so good but hope helps. it’s 1077 grams with a cut out in the left corner so I’m assuming originally it was 1100. Andrew McC wasn’t sure of the arrow shape but said it in hand is the only way to know for sure , I don’t understand why if you were making a fake you do one it’s so unique ? why you wouldnt make it more of a main stream ? the larger size 1800 g. Also is it a family deal so hoping it’s authentic. any feedback and help would be great thank you and I hope everybody is safe and sound. Finding fun things to do with the home/down time Cheers, Greg
I’m not an expert, but something doesn’t look right to me. The surfaces remind me of the fake Apollo of Gaza.
