OK, I guess we are done. Anyway, the coin has a green sticker. I've discussed this coin with several dealers and most think the "toning" on the cheek identifies the coin as original...hence the bean. One told me coins of this kind often get dipped then regraded to AU50 but the coin is washed out. You see a lot of these in TPG holders without the bean...a washed out "yellow" gold. There is a difference between whether you like a coin and whether it is considered original so I can understand why some don't like this. I see plenty of coins I'd consider undesirable (in my opinion) but are totally original and have stickers. A LOT of coins like that. To each their own. After all it is YOUR money. jom

Looks like someone carved their initials on the obverse. I think it's a nice looking coin but No Bean.
Tough call on the quarter I’m going to say yes on a green bean a fair amount of marks and scratches make it a tough call. The eye appeal is great and I love that obverse die was about to shatter. Like the coin
The quarter has a nice look. My only question is whether is should be graded XF45. That would determine the color of the bean. I'll go with a gold one since I think it's undergraded.
I say yes on the quarter for a green bean. Very nice coin with eye appeal plus interesting die state.
Is that quarter struck through a staple? I don't know how JA feels about errors like this. I think it looks quite nice, but I'm concerned about a couple of the scratches. Overall, I'm tipped in favor of the bean, but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get it.
I'll say no sticker (I like it, but the strike through? two of them? could have negated the bean like previously mentioned). Current order for next post: @Mainebill @Publius2
Here ya go. Yes to the Bean. Since I bought this coin with the sticker I can't add anything. The strike through didn't seem to bother CAC so it's probably not damage after the fact as some have told me. jom
