Jefferson nickel.

    I found this nickel hunting $100 worth hand rolled coins...does it hold any value other than 5 cent...if so like wat price range...but truthfully i would to know the type of error coin it is..has no date nor any wording. Only a pic of Jefferson. Complete reverse is 100% 'right...

    That is what we call (in colloquial terms) damage......

    Lol...i can tell its damaged...i guess wat im getting at is it damaged from the mint facility or is is post damage from consumers...

    PMD, damaged aftervot left the Mint. Not an error but it is a spender.

    Someone grinded it down and now it's worth 3.5 cents. Not an error and it is damage. Spend it.

    For an example of how that could have happened,
    take a nickel, any nickel
    lay it face down on a concrete sidewalk, any concrete sidewalk
    put your foot on it, any foot
    scrub it back and forth, and forth and back
    pick it up and take a look at it, a good hard look
    It should look like the one in your pix
    If not, do it again, and again, until the desired result is achieved
