These are my RadaR finds in the last 3 weeks at shop. Also found some Binary, Trinary and other cool serials but I'll post them later. Thanks for looking. KidRaDaR
Thanks for the nice comment Darryl.:smile One of the cool serials I was talking about is this I thought of you when I first got it. It has my lucky number 5656. I'll keep this one but I'll keep a lookout for you if you want to add Indian notes to your collection.
Very nice too bad that 0 wasn't a 6. Indian notes would go nice with the rest of my foreign notes We can PM each other if there is ever the opportunity... Best Regards ~ Darryl
When you say "finds" do you mean you actually found them in circulation or did you buy them? Just curious! I don't find stuff like that.
Yup KD, all these notes are finds from circulation. I never bought any Indian coins or notes except for a few old silver and gold stuff. Its festival time in my country and so the rate of sales and finds has increased almost 6X times from past few weeks.
Well that is so cool that you find all of that on your own. When I was in the 7th grade I did a huge report on India.
Thanks Richie. You can view a few more Indian notes through the link in my signature but its only about 50% of my entire collection.
Have you finished the type set of Republic of India bank notes yet? I'm still looking for the demonitised 1000, 5000 and 10000 Rupees notes.
Guess you are still new to Indian bank notes Spock. These denominations were introduced in 1954 but were demonitised by 1978. Very hard to get in decent shape. 1000 Rupees 5000 Rupees 10000 Rupees So now you know what to look for my next B'day
demonetized kid you said it yourself. they were all available between rs 17 and 50 a few years ago. you want a real note get the 1000 rs from the empire
BTW those notes were introduced in 1949 here you can learn a bit about the rupee http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Indian-Rupee
