Everyday I wake up with that feeling that I’m sure Bill Murray’s character from Ground hogs day must’ve felt.

A perpetual spirit of “meh” pervades all things and all people across all lands...
    And then a pleasant surprise!
My good buddy @ominus1, better known as Omonus1ophthalmus, sent me a very cool surprise!
A bad@$$ ancient Corinthian helmet keychain!

Now when I go to crack a cold one or start my car (never at the same time, kiddos) I can look at this and remember there’s always surprises waiting around the corner, I’ve got cool friends who I’ve never had the chance to meet and ancient style will always be cool to look at!
Thanks @ominus1. You’re a real pal and should you ever find your way to salt lake there is a sizzling stake waiting with your name on it.
Here’s some of my favorite helmets on coinage:

So, please post your favorite helmets in thanks of surprises, cause they’re cool and to remind everyone to STOP TOUCHING YOUR FACE!

@Clavdivs I don't think we have to worry about Constantine touching his face with those tiny hands of his :p

Here are some helmets on Athena, Roma, Mars, and Roma, respectively. Plus a bonus miniature helmet on a miniature Mars (actually Ares) on the first coin:

Oh, and here's yet another helmeted Mars I have (in his role as Mars Ultor, or Mars the Avenger). Unfortunately, he's lost his weapon, so he'll have to wreak vengeance without it:

There is no better place than CT for finding great generous guys. I'll show off a little souvenir from a trip in Italy. I was so proud of my keychain until I discovered on ebay it was made...in China !

Not sure if it's related ???
I also like knives. Just started a small collection. This 1 is called "Enyo" by Spartan Blades... on the end of it has a small helmet... guessing during Spartan times ??

Your helmet keychain and bottle opener is very cool, @Ryro , and so are your coins! I’ve posted all of my helmet coins although I’m not sure about the Nabataens. At first glance I thought they were helmets. I mistook the sections of the border on the top left for a helmet crests.

Here's a tetradrachm, Paeonia Audoleon, 11.98 grams, purchased from MA Shops about three years ago, with Athena facing three-quarters.

Great coin @robinjojo- very attractive on both sides! I don't think I've seen Athena portrayed like that on a coin before.

Here's Athena sporting a helmet with an impressive crest:

    Antiochos IX Philopater.jpg
Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos IX Philopator. 114/3-95 B.C. AR tetradrachm (28 mm, 16.46 g, 12 h). Antioch on the Orontes. Diademed head of Antiochos IX right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ ΦΙΛΟ-ΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ, Athena standing facing, head left, holding Nike and resting hand on grounded shield, spear cradled in arm; monogram in outer left field above A; in inner right field, A; all within wreath.
