Looks MS-60 to me. I don't see any wear on her hair. The stuff on the reverse is dust on my scanner. (I really ought to do something about that). Thoughts? Particularly regarding value?
MS 60 ish, really small pics so I cant see too well. Is it mushy after the Y in LIBERTY? probably get 35 bucks for it, for some reason I like the cheek.
Very hard to tell from the pictures at least AU-58 could go MS-63 , Is there any mint luster in hand ? Still a very nice example . rzage
That is a nice XF/AU example IMO if you look closely at the hair under LIBERTY it is worn...also, the feathers are worn Again, only my opinion, so wait till others grade it. stainless
AU-55. The coin has seen circulation imho. I see wear on the headress and hair. Also on the ribbon on the reverse. Nice coin.
A very nice AU50 to 53. The Luster just isn't there and there is slight rub on the tips of the feathers.
I couldn't see any wear in the smaller picture and was hoping the lack of luster was from the scanner , from the larger pics , there is slight wear and no luster , AU-55 . Still a nice example . rzage
I agree. :hammer: Slight wear but no obvious detracting marks or blemishes. AU 55; maybe even 58 with better photos. Really nice coin... Bruce
I don't think the no luster thing would make it an AU though, right? I thought it was all about the wear? stainless
You're right , it's all about the wear , but wear detracts from the luster , since it's hard to see the wear in the 1st pictures , luster is just something I use to help me gage the amount of circulation , but if you see wear that's all you need to make it circulated . rzage:hatch::hammer:
after closer inspection.... I retract my MS 60 ish opinon. I say AU 55. still within the "ish" grade first designated by me
Thanks guys, about what I thought. It has a nice subdued luster in hand, not the regular brown of a more heavily circulated cent. I can easily see it being AU 55, what threw me a bit were the fields being so nice.
