Beautiful sestertius. On first glance I thought it was a medallion.

It looks like the reverse of your first denarius reads "COS IIII", which is also the reverse for RIC III, 175 at http://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.3.ant.175 :shy: I can't find a denarius with Annona that reads COS III but of course I can be mistaken.

I usually compare attributions of coins on threads at CT with my attributions, to find mistakes in mine:shy:

Here's my example of @DonnaML 's COS IIII Annona denarius. It's not the prettiest, but I'm not sure further cleaning would improve things:

    Antoninus Pius, AD 138-161.
    Roman AR denarius, 2.88 g, 18.0 mm, 6 h.

Rev: COS IIII, Annona standing left, holding two corn-ears in right hand over modius and resting left hand on anchor.

Homebody theme seems about right for the times, and an amazing, amazing AP ITALIA.
