$20.20. Happy about this one, nice and original. F15/VF20: $36.50. Not certain. Although nice VF35 details, it was definitely cleaned. Not harshly though. Will look fine in the album. That completes all the Liberty Seated varieties for all denominations. Damn there are a lot of them. Except the dollar. Oof. Maybe one day.
I like that little chip under (S)T. Almost CUD like. I'm not sure if there are die variety collectors or just mmjor variances noted.
These just came in today. Both for $99 so it just makes this thread. This is usually identified by a retained CUD above the F. It even confused me and I needed help attributing this one. It is very slightly off center cutting off the bottom at the date. This is a die state rarity. This is a terminal die state in Noyes but Breen mentions a later state with heavy clashing on both the obverse and reverse. I don't see the clashes, but the break right of F is heavy. Probably a tweener having some, but not all of the die markers of the Terminal Die State.
Picked up this nice little reverse toner https://www.ebay.com/itm/1922-P-PEACE-SILVER-DOLLAR-RAINBOW-TONING-ON-REVERSE-UNCIRCULATED-BU-MS-BEAUTY/274314305950?hash=item3fde68219e:gc4AAOSwD39edWvb
COVID-19 (IMHO) is definitely affecting the true auctions. There are some bargains to be had if one looks. These purchases have convinced me to only post fixed price listings for the foreseeable future. It has always been a custom of mine to make many conservative bids in hopes of stealing one and I think it is a practice, at this time, that is going to produce some good buys.
A 1923 Mercury with full bands for $18. Edit: Expand the still photo of the obverse to check out the die erosion. It is particularly prominent at the chin and neck. The motto IN GOD WE TRUST appears to be melting.
This 1911-S buy ($30) no longer qualifies for the under $50 as after some correspondence with the seller and learning of how these came into his possession my conscience wouldn't leave me alone, so I sent him a surprise PayPal. and a note telling him to be more careful in how he makes his listings. These were inherited and he did absolutely no research, not a good thing to do with all the uncertainty that goes with this pandemic. I still got a great bargain and I no longer feel like a thief.
The sad thing here is he thought at $30 he did great. If his father is looking down on all this I hope he is resting a bit easier.
Just purchased this 81S. Darker than most I have seen but i like the toned look https://www.ebay.com/itm/1881-S-Morgan-silver-dollar-Choice-AU-UNC-slider-58-md5-toned-prooflike/373004812296?hash=item56d8d1c008:g:AekAAOSwoLFeWu~1

I wanted to replace this 1932-D Lincoln with something cleaner. But I am not sure I did... $32.99 for the new one, 33.95 for the one above.
