I figured I run a new thread for some of the Silver certificates I added. I was able to get duplicates of some of these. It was a good auction.

    Thanks RickieB,

I did not attend, I just did my bidding before hand and via Heritage Live. They had lots of computer problems but I worked around them.

There was a lot of good deals to be found. Some of the auctions went into the late hours of the morning because they were on the west coast. The Fractionals went live around 1 or 2 in the morning and I was able to pick up a Fractional Shield - one of the last 3 lots at 2:30 am central time. There was only 3 people on the auction floor at that time in Long Beach and the Live online bidding was weak, so the opportunity to grab something was there.

In general, prices on excellent material continued to go up. But like I said, there were deals to pick up, I think more than normal because of the hours and due to some apprehension of some collectors because of the economy.

Keep your eyes open on the next couple of national auctions, I think you can get some nice pieces since there is more collections being rolled out of the safe deposit boxes from years ago.

    Jeff
