    You have to understand, this is portraying the time she was wading at the beach and stepped on something squishy and moving.

    I can only agree. Coins with attractive or interesting wear and good style are usually more desirable to me than coins in higher grade that show poor engraving, unattractive surfaces and patina structure, or show a color I don't appreciate that much.

    This Faustina sestertius is probably my best example of a well-worn coin in fine style that I'm very happy to have in my collection:
