1943 1c fs-801 please help

    Found this coin in a trunk in a coin book been there for 40 years . it is a 1943 1c FS 801 has all the correct markers . Coin is under plastic plastic has East-West scratches on it.Coin does cartwheel under light but it is also graying on top. image.jpg image-1.jpg is this in good enough condition should have it graded ? thank you I'm a newbie hope I posted in the right forum

    Nice, looks like the DDR to me. Getting it graded is gonna set you back at least $50 so check ebay sold listings and other auctions its sold at to get an idea of if its worth it.

    I did do a little bit of checking at a 63 it's worth about 350 and at 66 the last one just sold for $1,296 that's why I was here asking what grade everybody thought it was thanks for your thoughts

    Best of luck, I would have no idea of what it would grade, but hope it is a real high one.

    I'm thinking an airtite at a minimum. Nice looking coin!
