    From my Mom's hometown....
    AV Goldgulden ND Bonn Mint
    Koln/ Erzbistum
    Archbishop Friedrich III Von Saarwerden 1371-1414

    @panzerman Since Koln is your mothers hometown maybe you could
    start a collection with coins issued by and for the city. It could really be
    a nice collection with coins from the different centuries.

    I have four coins from Koln so far, I am hopeing to add more. I am trying to get some of the early dated in high quality, but its rare to find perfect ones.:( My fav. is that AV 7 Goldgulden with the Magi. I was born in Julich formerly the Herzogtum of Julich-Cleve-Berg. So far I have three from there. Germany struck tons of coinage/ in gold/ silver/ copper.
