    I also think it's a proof.
    Difficult to have a business strike 1881 in this condition, that would be

    It looked like it was on the slab, but just making sure. You can see the reflection of it on the coin.... so I am going proof. But I have no idea on this one. It is shockingly pretty.

    I have a PF65 1882, and the surfaces are much more matte than this.

    Well, it’s time for the reveal. I’ve never seen a PL shield nickel. Bet it would be something!
