This coin was found in the early seventies, but I have no idea what the color on it came from. Could I have an exact value and an answer for my color question? Thanks. *I slightly altered the photos to make it appear more clear* upload_2020-3-30_16-57-26.jpeg

Awesome! I love off-centers! I would think yours is in the ~$5-$10 range.

Wow! I thought this was a $3 coin! That is good news.

Nice off-center. Great it shows the year. Probably will bring a little premium.

Wonder if the Denver Mint on the coin affects price. In state quarters, D is a little rarer than P Mint.

Hmm. I guess that never occurred to me- but when I visited the Denver mint, they had to order the example "waffled" coins from Philadelphia.

I know about that fingerprint, but the color is super odd in person. It almost looks gold, but not like luster.

Now thats an off-center coin! I love how you can see Lincolns face and the date clearly. My grandfather gave a lot of these to my dad when he was a teen in the 70's. He threw them away thinking that they were errors and therefore had no value (kind of the opposite to the problem we have now LOL). Anyways that is a wonderful coin, especially for a circulation find? TY for the share, I can see $10 being a fair price.

I have two here that is almost a perfect match for yours . I believe they may be the same date as yours and both of them are near identical. Thanks for showing your coin .

Very nice off-center cent. In my book it's a $20 coin.

I went and dug my coins out and they are dated 1981 . There are quite a few off center coins for every year.

I bet so. I didn't exactly word it as I meant to.
