Any ideas on approximate grade or value?

The grade doesn't matter in this case as the coin is only worth one cent.

I take those ones out and toss them in a bag. They look cool, but they won't gain value for another 50 years or so. (I'm guessing)

As stated, face value. I'd still probably stick it in a 2x2 holder. It made it this long pretty nice, I'd try to protect it.

Nice enough looking coin for its age, but as mentioned, worth FV. Looks like it has the beginnings of corrosion so it may not last 50 more years.

Due to some of the spots on it and it not being quite the best strike, I would give it (keep in mind that I am not a PCGS grader) MS-65-MS-66

I started out at a 65 and then it went down hill from there with the close up photos. It's hard to give a good grade without the coin in hand.

That is true. I looked at the PCGS photograde for reference.

PCGS Photo grade is a very valuable tool when you're trying to learn about grading. Actually, invaluable in my opinion!

If it's MS (and I don't think it is) it's not higher than 63. This is prob AU-55/58.
There are a lot of cents from the 60's that still survive in excellent condition.
Almost all of them (except for the very best, varieties and errors) are worth 1 cent.

I don't think it would grade MS. It might grade AU.
