    Nothing more than a "course correction" - though his son Constantius favored the Arian Heresy. Then in the next century the Council of Chalcedon, called by the emperor Marcian. Then in the Byzantine times the break with Rome and the Iconoclast - Iconodule struggles. Hard to keep the politics out of religion.
