I bought a coin from bertolami fine arts & it shipped via royal mail and arrived at L.A. customs on the 21. Still waiting for it to be delivered, but it was mailed out on the 18th. So I guess some dealers/firms can still ship with no issues.
Stay safe @jamesicus and @thejewk! Many people dont follow the guidelines and go outside even when they are sick! Happened here. Things are really serious now and we are in near lockdown!

That’s ok, Alegandron. Herbert is the Chuck Norris of lizards. All he has to do is give the owl the stink eye and the owl becomes the lizard. Erin
I heard Chuck Norris has been exposed to the Coronavirus. The virus is now in quarantine for a month.
Wife and I are working from home, 19 daughter is home from University (completing her semester online) and my 17 year old daughter is also home - with High school currently closed.
Our 17 yo grandson is a senior and has been told he will graduate on schedule but there is no word on how the dual enrollment classes will be handled so he may not get the college credit for that. He was accepted for a college now doing online only but no one knows if they will start a new class in September or not. He is perfectly OK with no formal graduation and is very into online classes already. I think he would be fine with never having to leave the house for four more years. The current generation is more adaptable to having friends online in many time zones. Come to think of it, that describes Coin Talk. The chance of my ever seeing 90% of you in person is high but I have already adapted to the idea of people who only agree with me on what day it is half of the time. We here on CT have it easier than those whose lives revolved around large group activities like concerts and sports. Have you noticed the change in laundry? I have not worn a shirt with a collar for two weeks. Jeans with holes are becoming the standard. After being married for 50 years, my wife and I have set a new personal record for consecutive hours together under the same roof and consecutive meals together. It is the new normal.
I do think we are in for a societal change as many folks and companies realize they can cut expenses by having people work from home. This has been a newish phenomenon for the past 25 years or so but will probably become more prevalent. Also, the contraction of the economy may take 3-5 years to recover. Here is Apollo working from home...
My daughter is 14 on Saturday. She isn't looking forward to it, as she knows there will be few people around her celebrating. Like all other kids in Norway, she is home schooling right now. We let them go outside to be with friends, but not visitng each other (far less chance of getting the disease outdoors.) Last week she came to me and showed a drawing she had made. It's the first drawing she has made in years, that she has put any effort into. When she is outside with friends, they arrange picnics and play together the way they used to years ago. It is hard to predict how this situation will change society, but if what I see with those kids is the beginning, I'm all in.
She was quite proud Which was nice to see. They have been too distracted with their gadgets. Now that the gadgets are all they've got, they are going to find other things to do. Lucky for us, the youngsters are natural contrarians. I have been challenging her about spending less time on the screen for years, but of course she doesn't listen to me.
We're supposed to have an all-team conference call Friday, and my manager says she wants to make it a video call. I'm wondering whether this is a dress-code check. I'm assuming pants are required, even though I'll only be seen from the neck up. I guess I should wear them on my head.
