    Hey all!

I have a book of these, with all the dates filled in. Now that I have done that, would it be worth it to change them all into BU grade? It would cost me around $15 to $20 to do this. But how much could I sell the whole thing for as a set?

    Thanks! :D

Ryan, the 41-58 set in avg circ runs about $5, the memo's are spenders if circulated.

A BU set is very affordable and fun to build unless you get into registry quality slabbers.

To add to AJ's comment, I believe that you can still get 2¢ each for copper cents (1982 and earlier) and 3¢ or better for all wheats (1958 and earlier) - regardless of condition.

I just sold three sets 1941-1958 complete in average circ for $2.00 each.

So is it worth changing all of them to BU?

    Hi Ryan,
If you plan to keep this as your special collection then I would say to go ahead and try to find the best bu example of each of the coins for your album. Most are fairly easy to find and buy. If you want to sell it then do it before upgrading.

    I agree!

Was this an investment or do you want to own great looking a set?
