Wow you sure are aiming for something extremely expensive there. You might want to look up what these countries are. Malacca coins should be relatively cheap if you are looking for an example.

The most expensive out of the lot seems to be the New South Wales coin - you might want to google it under "holey and dump". Here is a description of what it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holey_dollar You don't want to know the price tag of an example, trust me.

Yes if you have a spare $40,000 dollars laying around you can buy the holy dollar oh and $16,000 for the dump there not cheep you may be able to buy it cheeper but not much,New Zealand and Australian coin sets are cheeper but you still have to pay big money for the key dates,a seller on ebay yeoldcoins from Adeladie sell full sets minus key dates or semi sets of australian coins if your interested regards Harry

Bangladesh was never a British colony mate.....Also if you want to own one coin example from each of these colonies like I do; it will be a whole lot cheaper.

The region now know as Bangladesh was part of the British Empire, it was formed from part of Bengal and India (Called East Pakistan) it gained its Indipendence in 1971 from Pakistan and is a member of the Commonwealth :kewl:
Dont forget that Pakistan was also part of the British empire but was not known by that name then, it came into being with the partition in 1947.
So yes the area now known as Bangladesh was under British rule.

Yup, I know that Bangladesh is a commonwealth member and the region was infact under British rule before 1947 partition of India but the fact is Bangladesh as a country is relatively new and the country itself was never ruled by the British in its present form and no British coins ever issued for it either.
So its not a British colony IMO but a commonwealth state for sure.
My family lived in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka before partition in 1947 but we settled in now India after that.

I quite agree that the country only formed in 1971 coudnt have been a British colony under that name, but there were coins issued in the area under British rule :D and even though the name has changed it was still a British colony :D Same applies for Pakistan it was all part of the British Raj. Perhaps those are the coins he is looking for

British Columbia never had thier own circulating coins just a few pattern pieces but even the cheapest and assuming you can even find one for sale will set you back many tens of thousands of dollars.

Yup I guess RickLester is looking for the Bengal Presidency coins issued under British rule in undivided Bengal like De Orc mentioned. Bangladesh is actually Eastern part of the then Bengal. But the fact remains that those were coins of Indian state and not Bangladesh's.
