As much as I tried I couldn't help myself at the flea market today, 15 minutes away from the misses and I made a couple purchases. I spent $50.00 on everything, $40 on the silver set, $7 on the canadian half penny and $3 on the 82 lincoln variety set. Not being a die hard peace dollar or Morgan collector, they look funny to me. The ones in my collection are more white and frosted so to speak, these do look different for some reason. Not being a Lincoln variety collector, I didn't know that There were 8 varieties of the 82 Lincoln, This set is missing the S mint. (which I have in the proof set) I didn't even know that coppers were made in 82. Why is the 82 D Zinc labeled as the key coin in this? The vendor had 5 more of these, I should have bought them for $3 a piece. Thought the Candian half penny was neat, its got some rim damage but I think it was worth the $7. Harry
WAY cool Harry. Most of the 82' sets I see are spotty and problematic. $3 for a nice set is a steal !!! There are no real keys, just the LD Zinc is the " scarcest" of the 7. Love that Canadian as well !!
