Okay, here is another coin I submitted. Two sets of pictures to help you better understand this coin. Sorry for the scratched slab.
I think I see blotches and dings on each photo, but when I compare the two obverse pictures with each other - due to the lighting they each have different dings. So, I don't know what to think. Not being certain, I'll vote no. On another note, I have used the Novus plastic cleaning and scratch remover products with success in getting rid of a lot of scratches on slabs.
Solid for the grade or squarely in the middle, but no one above mentions the Ah factor! She's a beaut, colorwise, has character beyond her grade and that could eclipse "better examples", which is what set coins apart for little ol me. Lovely. Greenie.
Okay, well, this coin FAILED. No other pics to post since JA thought this was either overgraded trash, or a "C" coin at MS65. Most everyone got it wrong. Too much sloshing around I think. I was a little surprised when I got the result back in 2014. Of course, I "see" coins a little differently now, I had my eyes upgraded.
Maybe JA needed to clean his glasses on that one. I wonder what the result would be if it was sent back in today? If it did bean then it would tell me that maybe these things aren't worth a hill of beans.
I believe I'm up next. Here's an 1851 Half Cent that's graded by PCGS as AU58+. Does it get a bean or not?
