Augustus visited Patricia in 15 or 14 BC.

and one Legio VIII Augusta that probably commemorates the settlement in Berytus. See
    http://www.livius.org/articles/legion/legio-viii-augusta/ and www.geocities.com/legionviiiaugusta/LegioVIII.html
The legionary eagles and military ensigns refer to the original formation of the colony by Julius Caesar or rather to the transmission by Augustus of the fifth and eight legions to Berytus, present-day Beirut, the capital of Phoenicia during Roman times.

Æ18, Phoenicia, Berytus. Struck under Trajan, 99 - 102 AD

Hmmm I didn't know geocities was still operational. But it brings back memories of web 1.0. As a venture capitalist back then I remember those days quite fondly. As a colleague of mine from New York said when in Silicon Valley "The streets are paved with gold." Now the words of Cassius Dio are relevant..."for our history now descends from a kingdom of gold to one of iron and rust."
