Hrm...things like this lead to getting a third party involved to guarantee that it happens....like Paypal. Yea, I know don't beat me up on that one too much.....

Probably due to the area I grew up in I just don't trust anyone with anything. I never buy anything via the mail, the internet, or catalog ordering places. Just rather be safe than sorry. I did however once attempt to buy something via ebay. It wasn't much money but the item advertised was not what was sent. I sent it back but had to pay postage and restoking fees. I emailed the company and mentioned how I was presently contacting the better buisnesss organization and the State buidness Board. They sent me my postage and other fees back. Now I just go to stores for anything except coins from coin shows. I just don't trust people.

yeah, I tend to go ahead and trust a person until they give me a reason not to, and I have almost never been ripped off. Even the scenario I mention above...all it was was a casual exchange where I send him sometime and he sends me something. Didnt set what it would be just send something in exchange. It just so happens this person did not send anything. As for ebay, I have had a few people attempt to pass things off but in the end I have never been ripped off...The only coin I own that I know is fake was sold to me in person....they got me early on when I didnt know what a cheap cast fake looked like :)

Give me $2 to Win on TheNoost. :D But yeah, that's what they were used for, back when it was fashionable to, well, "horse around." It's no coincidence the mutuels are based on $2 bets. The edge was ripped off by those "in the know" for good luck. ;)

Rickie, some of us will never forget what a "stand up" guy you were when you went WAAAAAAAAY above and beyond to make up for another member's.. shall we say.. disappointing actions.

I'd do business with you in a heartbeat. You're the kind of guy that a handshake or his word is as good as a contract and, personally, I think you're one of the most respected members on this forum.
