Last year I metal detected the richest site I’ve ever found, a lot in downtown Fernandina Beach /Amelia Island. I found an ivory handled revolver, horseshoe, 4 axe heads, including a broad axe, a handful of 2 ringer (Confederate) and 3 ringer (Union) Minie balls and musket balls and numerous coins such as wheat and Indian Head pennies, Roosevelt, Mercury, Barber and Seated dimes and quarters. Also these 2 half dimes which are my first ones. Two weeks after I believed I had cleaned it out I saw about 50 feet of sidewalk was removed and I found another 2 ringer and my oldest coin, a 1718 ! Reale.
This is my most valuable Seated Liberty coin, and it's the first one. This is original issue, coin turn Gobrecht Dollar with the name on the base. It's a PCGS PR-62, CAC.
I was in “half dime mode” when I previously said those were my only 2. Here is my dime, type 5 Legend Obverse Here is my quarter, type 3 Arrows and Rays
