Neither a coin nor a reproduction, the following item has the sacred Menorah standing. Reverse shows some form of spiral or snail. It's likely to be made of glass or light marble, and weighs 4.69 g. Many varieties seem to exist in those items. I don't know what this ancient item was designed for. Please post a comment if you have.

There are some ancient items for sale on VCoins that are referred to as: Glass jetons.
None with a menorah but similar in shape.

It looks a bit like a glass one solidi or one numisma coin weight. A one solidi weight weighs about 4.55 grams. A picture of some is below. I do not see one with a menorah in Hendin's book on Ancient Scale Weights.

Is there any reference that depicts a menorah on an ancient jeton or glass weight ?

I have not seen one on a glass weight. The Pondera web site has - 1463 object(s) under glass weights. Most have pics. You can go through the list and see. The weight below has about the shape of yours (or the camera angle makes it look so).
