I am looking at the federal reserve note section and am seeing several $1 notes that are selling for quite a bit over face value. I can't really figure out what is special about them though.

Remember I'm new at this so take it easy on me. LOL Can anyone tell me what is so special about some of these notes?

Nevermind I found the descriptions so it tells me a little. But I still can't figure out why some are as high as they are.

    KD....

There are many factors which influence a notes pricepoint!
Condition is usually a top notch factor, as well as rarity, signatures on the note, printing quantities of the notes, block numbers and list goes on....

The important thing is to study before you buy and understand what it is you are bidding on...

    Good luck..

Well I'm not planning on buying any of them anytime soon. I just wanted an idea of what things values are.

if you post a link to a specific note, we would be better at answer why itmight be selling for a higher then normal amount :)
