Could the E in the column in the memorial Building be a dropped letter? received_657125511757517.jpeg received_842263152920244.jpeg received_637632130129341.jpeg received_859689147824106.jpeg

I told you no.. Looks like a stain. Pareidolia is more like it.

The question for me would be, "Is it a dropped element or a retained dropped element?" If it is a dropped element, the letter should have left an impression in the field which can be checked with a toothpick. If it is a retained dropped element, there should be no impression as it is level with the surrounding field.

It will be up to the OP to determine this, and if there seems to be no discernible resistance when a toothpick is drawn across the anomaly, then I can only assume that it is just a bit of discoloration on the surface of the coin that looks like the letter "E". ~ Chris

No! It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and a dropped element is not really worth a whole heck of a lot. The grading and attribution would cost far more than it is worth. ~ Chris

Sorry but not a dropped letter. It's on a zinc planchet and it's too distorted to be a dropped letter.
