    First, welcoem.

Second, not to be negative, but I would like to see pictures of your coins before offering an opinion.
As for the Thomas Jefferson item, most likely a medal of some sort.

Pictures are going to be needed to determine condition of the coins and to make sure they aren't chinese fakes. All of the dates you mention are frequently seen on fakes coming out of China.

    Hello hawkeye_fella,
If it is difficult for you to provide photographs, perhaps you could tell us where the coins are from & how they are packaged, etc. You should show them to some coin dealers or post photos for an opinion. There is a likelihood that they are counterfeits from Thailand or China. Don't ever clean them or discard them as counterfeits unless you have had them inspected by an expert!
    Very best regards,

    Right-o.

Don't do anything with them until you know what you have. Any decision should be an informed decision.

Everybody here knows those are potentially very, very valuable if genuine and in decent shape. These sort of things don't just drop out of trees.

And like the man said... don't ever clean them in any way !

    Good luck !
